Apparently, I've got some catching up to do around here.

Not thrilled about it though. Apparently it's been almost two months?

It isn't uncommon though being that long seems to be. Did you spend the time without awareness or with the belief that you were home?Do you need anything?

If someone hadn't told me otherwise, I would've thought I was just asleep for a night.

[ which for him, is already fucking weird: crais might have at least some idea of his aversion to sleep given that even wash spending the night here just results in crais waking up to an already-awake wash next to him. ]

I'm as fine as anyone can be for waking up out of a two-month coma. How long do they usually last?

Somewhere between two weeks and a month.

Maybe this is their way of forcing you to catch up on all the sleep you weren't getting.

[ Oh, he has an idea and a willingness to infer. ]

I get enough.

[ nearly twice as long as the usual "sleep". that's an aberration for sure. a bit of a pause as he considers that, and. ]

So it's probably very unlikely that Felix just went into hiding and managed to get fall into a coma or something somewhere, huh?

I am nearly positive Felix is gone and has been, but I was fairly positive you were too.

I'm pleasantly surprised you're still here, though I am concerned you're going to have to actually manage to be social enough to find a contract.

I've just woken up from a two-month power nap. I'll worry about contracts later.

My first clue Felix was gone was that I wasn't dead. I have no doubt he'd have taken the opportunity if he found me unconscious.

In two months he could have killed you and had you resurrect at least twice, but I'd imagine the bed you were in would be much bloodier.

That he left Ephemera alone was my biggest indicator and I am angry about his absence.

I had someone watching out for me, and I really hope they would tell me if I'd died in that timeframe.

Angry why?

Please tell me that is a rhetorical question.

There's different kinds of angry.

[ less of a "why would you be angry?" and more of a "how and what kind of angry". ]

That is a much better question.

I don't know. It might be frustrated, scared, worried or helpless angry. or might just be angry because I liked him.

Might be all of the above.

Do you have an idea of when he disappeared? If he did anything before leaving?

A month maybe, give or take. The only thing I knew he was doing was what he had been doing - screwing around with Ephemera and Drake.

I'm gonna assume that "screwing around" means both "screwing" and "screwing with".

Do you think they'd know anything?

No. I don't think anyone's going to have any answers because he wasn't the most forthcoming, but also because I don't think he intended to leave or was up to 'anything' unusual.

I think that is just what Duplicity does.

What generally happens to a person's belongings if they disappear?

If they made prior arrangements those seem to be honored. If not they go to their contract partner.

You spoken to Ephemera any since Felix disappeared?

[notleavingquietly]

Yes. He's learning to cook and has a puppy.
